Fourteen (14) year-old thoroughbred mare brought to Professional Animal Health, Inc. (Newcastle, OK) on April 11, 2005. Right upper forelimb severely lacerated by barbed wire two (2) days earlier. Tetanus vaccination history was unknown.
Four (4) year-old Quarter Horse mare presented on July 27, 2005 with chronic (2 years) exuberant granulation tissue (proud flesh) at two locations on the anterior surface of the right hock. The top lesion measured 5.0 cm in diameter and the lower one 3.5 cm in diameter.
